056 कोरा कर्मकाण्ड

अरे सनातनियों! तुम किसे धर्म मानते हो? क्या तुम नहीं जानते कि उपासना का फल कर्मकाण्ड से लाख गुणा है। कोरा कर्मकाण्ड तुम्हारे क्या काम आएगा?

जरा विचार करो सनातन धर्म कहाँ पिट रहा है? जगत में कीमती से कीमती जो ज्ञान होना संभव है, वह सब सनातन धर्म के शास्त्रों के रूप में हमारे पास है, फिर भी निश्चयात्मिका बुद्धि क्यों नहीं हो रही है? क्योंकि शास्त्र तो हैं, पढ़े भी खूब जा रहे हैं, पर उनका अर्थ हमारे जीवन में नहीं उतर रहा है।

ध्यान दें, शास्त्रवाक्य बुदबुदाने के लिए नहीं हैं, समझने के लिए हैं। यह जो बार बार पढ़ने का आग्रह किया जाता है, वह इसीलिए कि असल बात समझ में आ जाए। लेकिन जो मनुष्य शास्त्र के कोरे पाठ करने में हीे अपने कर्तव्य की इतिश्री मान रहा है, उस का कल्याण कैसे होगा?

मेरे भोलेराम, केवल मात्र पढ़ लेना पाठ करना नहीं है। पाठ के तीन अंग हैं, पठन, मनन, निधिध्यासन। पहले पढ़ो, फिर किसी संत से उसका वास्तविक अर्थ समझो, फिर उसका खूब मनन करके जीवन में उतारो, तब तो कोई बात बने। अगर समझा ही नहीं तो पढ़ा क्या? और जीवन में नहीं उतरा तो समझा क्या?

उदाहरण पकड़ो, चौपाई है-

"प्रबिसि नगर कीजे सब काजा।

हृदय राखि कोसलपुर राजा॥"

हनुमानजी ने तो भगवान को हृदय में रखकर लंका में प्रवेश किया। तुम कहीं प्रवेश करते हो तो हृदय में राम को नहीं, काम को रखते हो और जीभ पर चौपाई रखते हो।

दूसरा उदाहरण- हनुमान चालीसा में है-

"प्रभु मुद्रिका मेलि मुख मांहि। 

जलधि लांघि गए अचरज नाहिं॥"

माने हनुमान जी ने सागर पार कर लिया, तो हैरानी क्या? यह तो विचारो कि उनके मुख में क्या था? उनके मुख में राम नाम रूपी मुद्रिका थी। वही मुद्रिका, माने भगवान का नाम, तुम अपने मुख में रख लो, तुम भी पार हो जाओगे। इसमें क्या शंका है? यहाँ हनुमानजी की महिमा कम नहीं है, क्योंकि नाम तो लाखों लेकर चलते हैं, पर प्रमादवश उसे रास्ते में ही गिरा देते हैं। हनुमानजी ने मैनाकादि बाधाएँ आनेपर भी उसे गिराया नहीं, ले जाकर भक्ति देवी के चरणों में डाल दिया और भगवद्प्रेम पा लिया।

लोकेशानन्द पूछता है कि चौपाई तो लाख बार दोहरा ली, नाम कितना जपा? तुम ही बताओ, कल्याण नाम जपने से होगा, या चौपाई दोहराने से?

Just think why Sanatan Dharma is declining. The most valuable knowledge possible in the world is available with us in the form of scriptures of Sanatan Dharma, yet why is there no definitive intellect? Because we have the scriptures, we also read a lot, but we have not understood their meaning.

Note! Scripture is not for muttering, but for understanding. This is what is urged to be read again and again, so that the real thing is understood. But how will a person who is mere reciting the scriptures, be benefited?

My siblings! Reading is not just reading. Reading has three parts- Recitation, Contemplation, Nidhidhyasan. First read it, then understand its real meaning from a sant, then after contemplating it very much and take it down in life, then something will happen.

Take the example-

"Prabisi nagar kije sab kaja,

Hriday rakhi Kosalpur Raja."

Hanuman ji entered Lanka with Bhagwan in his heart. If you enter somewhere, you do not have Ram in your heart, you keep desires only, and you place the verse on your tongue.

Another example-

"Prabhu Mudrika meli mukh Mahi,

Jaladhi laanghi gaye achraj nahi."

Means Hanuman ji has crossed the world ocean, so what a surprise? Think what was there in his mouth? In his mouth there was a ring named Ram. Put the same name in your mouth, you will also cross. What is the doubt in this? Here the glory of Hanuman ji is not less, because millions carry the name, but accidentally drop it on the way. Hanuman ji did not drop it even after a lot of obstacles.

Lokeshanand asks you that you read the verse a million, have you chanted the name? You tell me, welfare will be by chanting the name, or by repeating the verses?
