057 संत और असंत

संत और असंत का अंतर कब मालूम पड़ता है? ज्ञान की परीक्षा कब होती है? उत्तर है विपत्ति काल में, जैसे असलीे नकली सोने का भेद अग्नि में डलने पर ही मालूम पड़ता है।

विचार करें, पिटारी से सर्प निकला, मीरा ने पुष्पमाल समझ पहन लिया, जहर का प्याला आया तो मेरे प्यारे गोपाल ने अमृत भेजा है, ऐसे पी गई। मीरा रोई क्या?

प्रह्लाद को अग्नि में बैठाया गया, वह घबराया क्या?

बंदा बहादुर की गोद में उसी के पुत्र को बैठाकर, बंदा के गले में उसकी आँतड़ियाँ निकाल कर डाल दी गईं, मंसूर के हाथ पैर काटे गए, कोई आरे से काटा गया, कोई गर्म तवे पर बैठाया गया, कोई चण्डाल के हाथों बिक गया, किसी पर थूका गया, किसी के सिर पर मिट्टी डाली गई, बताओ वे रोए क्या?

भाई! संत पर विपत्ति आती है तो वह नहीं रोता, दुनिया रोती है। और असंत पर विपदा आती है तो वह रोता है और दुनिया उस पर हंसती है।

जब फूलमाला पड़ रही थी तब जो फूल रहा था, अब चप्पल पड़ने पर जो रोने लगा, वह कैसा संत? "भगवान सब करने वाले हैं, उसके सिवा यहाँ कोई है ही नहीं, वो जो भी करता है मेरे भले के लिए करता है" यह ज्ञान कहाँ हवा हो गया?

लोकेशानन्द कहता है कि संत को महल, झोंपड़ी और जेल एक ही हैं, बल्कि जेल तो महल से एकांतकारी है। उसे तो परमात्मा ने भजन का अपूर्व अवसर दिया है, वह तो कृपा प्रसाद पा गया। गाली पड़ने लगी तो पाप कट गया, संग छूट गया तो जीवन सुधर गया, उसे दुख कैसा?
