A fakir is considered a beggar in the world. There is a lot of talk of richness and fakiri here. So much that the fakir is considered so inferior in proportion to the rich, as if he doesn't exist.
First of all understand who is a fakir? One who lacks the object is considered a fakir. But this belief is completely wrong.
Fakiri is not related to the presence or absence of the objects, but to the absence of sense of the absence of objects. Even if there is no object outside him, if there is no sense of that absence inside, he is not a fakir, but the real rich. And he who have plenty of objects outside, still if he is obsessed with desires from within, then he is not rich, he is a beggar. A beggar is not the one who does not have an object, a beggar is the one whose demand for objects is always there.
The king whose kingdom depends on the objects, if he loses his objects, will he still remain king? On the other hand, one who does not want anything, his joy does not increase with objects, neither worsens with their absence. One who is happy, who is satisfied, he may look like a fakir, but he is not a fakir, he is the king of kings.
Lokeshanand says that even the fire of holocaust cannot take away the kingdom of that fakir.
So tell me, the richness of the world which is not capable of eradicating your mendicancy, is precious, or the fakiri of Bhagwan's path which makes you king, is precious?
“The one who doesn't want anything, he is not worried. The one who has no desire is the king of kings."
