106 सच्चा सतसंगी

सूर्पनखा वासना है, वही इस जगत के दुखों का एकमात्र कारण है। पक्की बात है कि इस जगत में जो भी दुखी है, समझ लो उससे सूर्पनखा चिपटी है। वही बचा जिसने इसके नाक कान काट दिए।

पहले पंचवटी समझ लें, जिसमें वासना प्रपंच रचती है। पंचतत्वों की यह देह जो हम ने ओढ़ रखी है, यही पंचवटी है। हैरानी नहीं कि पंचवटी में ही प्रपंच का आरम्भ है, यहीं सती जी को भ्रम हुआ, यहीं सूर्पनखा आई, यहीं सीता जी छाया सीता हो गईं, यहीं मारीच मायामृग बनकर भगवान की आवाज निकालने लगा, यहीं रावण संतवेश में सीता जी को ले गया, इसी में भगवान को भी रोना पड़ा।

पर इस देह की एक बड़ी विशेषता भी है, वह यह कि इसी देह में सत्संग हो सकता है। तो इस देह को पाकर क्या करना चाहिए? सत्संग करना चाहिए।

इसीलिए यह देह पाई तो जीव रूपी लक्ष्मण जी, माने साधक जिसका मन लक्ष्य पर टिका है, ने सत्संग शुरू किया। स्वयं राम जी ने सद्गुरू बनकर, भक्ति रूपी सीता जी के सानिध्य में, सुंदर उपदेश दिया। पढ़ाई पूरी होते ही जैसे परीक्षा आती है, यहाँ सूर्पनखा आ गई।

देखो, वासना सुंदर दिखती है, पर है नहीं। यह आँख के रास्ते मन में घुसती है, जिसने अपनी आँख संभाल ली, उसका जीवन संभल गया। इसीलिए सच्चे सत्संगी लक्ष्मण जी भगवान की ओर देखने लगे, वासना की ओर झाँका तक नहीं। वैसे भी, जहाँ भक्ति हो, सीता जी हों, वहाँ वासना की दाल कैसे गले? भक्ति और आसक्ति, दोनों एक जगह कैसे रहें?

ध्यान दें, वासना में बाधा से क्रोध हुआ, क्रोध में सूर्पनखा ने भक्ति पर प्रहार करना चाहा, भगवान ने संकेत किया, जीव ने वासना को नाक कान विहीन कर दिया। परीक्षा उतीर्ण हुई, भक्ति की रक्षा हुई।

अगर वासना चढ़ जाती, तो न कान काम करते, न नाक बचती। पर सच्चा सत्संगी वासना के चक्कर में पड़कर अपनी नाक नहीं कटवाता, वासना के ही नाक कान काट देता है, माने वासना का विरूपीकरण कर देता है, कि भविष्य में कभी छल न पाए। वैसे भी- जहाँ ज्ञान नहीं, वहाँ कान कैसे? जहाँ मान नहीं, वहाँ नाक कैसी?

This is where Sati got confused, Surpanakha came, Sita ji became shadow Sita, Marich spoke in Bhagwan's voice, and here only Ravan kidnapped Sita ji. In this, Bhagwan also had to cry.

But there is also a great feature of this body, that spiritual preaching, satsang can happen in this body. What should we do after getting this body? Should do satsang.

That is why Lakshman ji in the form of human being, a true seeker whose mind rests on the goal, started satsang. Ram ji himself, as a guru, gave a beautiful sermon in the shadow of devotion Sita ji. As soon as the teachings were over, like exams, Surpanakha came.

Look, lust looks beautiful, but it is not. It penetrates the mind through the eyes, whoever took care of his eyes, his life was saved. That is why true seeker Lakshman ji started looking towards Bhagwan, not even peeping towards lust. Anyway, where there is devotion, how can there be lust? How can both devotion and lust stay in one place?

Note, by an obstacle in lust, anger came. In anger, Surpanakha wanted to strike devotion. Bhagwan indicated, the jeeva cut off nose and ears of lust. True seeker passed the exam, devotion was protected.

If the lust had won, neither the ear would have worked, nor the nose could have survived. But the true seeker does not cut his nose in the hands of lust, he cuts off the nose of the lust itself, deforms the lust, so that it can never cheat in future also.
