144 विधि निषेध

आज विधि निषेध संबंधी वार्ता।

देखें, अंधेरा क्या है? अंधेरा किसी वस्तु का नाम नहीं, प्रकाश का अभावमात्र ही अंधेरा है। जिस अंधेरे की सत्ता ही नहीं है, उसे काटे कौन? उससे उलझो ही मत। ऐसा करो, १ रू० की माचिस लो, उसमें ५० तिल्ली हैं, एक हुई २ पैसे की। तो २ पैसे की तिल्ली जलाई, अंधेरा भागा कि नहीं? बंद कमरे में हजार साल से अंधेरे का एक छत्र राज्य हो, तुम तिल्ली जलाओ तो वह विरोध तक नहीं कर सकता। नहीं कहता कि ऐसे कैसे? कि तूं २ पैसे की तिल्ली, मैं हजार साल का अंधेरा?

कोई ऐसा कहे कि पहले अंधेरा जाए तब मैं प्रकाश जलाऊँगा, या, जब तक अंधेरा है तब तक प्रकाश कैसे हो, मूर्खता नहीं है? अंधेरे का निषेध करना है तो प्रकाश करना ही विधि है।

या ऐसा समझो कि किसी को खाँसी है, तो खाँसी का ईलाज दवाई ही है। दवाई विधि है, खाँसी का निषेध करना है। मुख्य बात है कि निषेध तो विधि से ही होगा। विधि के बिना निषेध संभव कैसे हो? आप यह नहीं कह सकते कि मुझे खाँसी है, मैं दवा कैसे लूं? पहले मेरी खाँसी ठीक हो जाए, तब मैं दवा लूंगा।

तुम्हें दिल्ली जाना है, बम्बई का रास्ता छोड़ना है, तो जिसने दिल्ली का रास्ता सही से पकड़ लिया, उससे बम्बई का रास्ता अपने आप छूट जाएगा कि नहीं? कठिनाई क्या है? है ही नहीं।

एक बार, एक बार जो कोई भी, चाहे कितना ही दुराचारी भी क्यों न हो, सही सही साधन की दौड़ में पड़ जाए, विधि के अभ्यास में लग जाए, सीधा रास्ता पकड़ ले, उसे निषेध करना नहीं पड़ता, निषेध तो अपनेआप ही हो जाता है।

लोकेशानन्द कहता है कि शास्त्र सम्मत विधि का अनुपालन करने वाला, आज पहुँचेगा या कल, या कब पहुँचेगा, यह तो नहीं कहा जा सकता, पर पहुँचेगा जरूर, यह कहा जा सकता है।

Today we will talk about means and prohibition.

See, what is darkness? Darkness is not the name of an object, it is only the absence of light. Who can cut the darkness which does not exist? Do not mess with it.
