156 मन की दिशा

जैसे एक ही चाबी ताले को खोलती भी है और बंद भी करती है, एक ही मन बंधन का भी हेतु है, और यही मुक्ति का हेतु भी हो सकता है।

जैसे एक दिशा में घुमाने से ताला बंद हुआ है, विपरीत दिशा में घुमाने से खुलता है, संसार में लगा मन बंधनकारी है, तो यदि इसे ईश्वर में लगा दें तो मुक्तिकारी हो जाए।

चाबी की निंदा से कुछ नहीं होगा, ताला चाबी ने नहीं, चाबी घुमानेवाले ने लगाया है। योंही मन की निंदा से भी क्या होगा? क्योंकि मन स्वयं संसार में नहीं लगा, आप ने लगाया है। यह अलग बात है कि आज से नहीं लगाया, कभी लगाया था। बस गेंद सीढ़ी से लुड़की तो लुड़कती चली गई। पानी में मिट्टी मिल गई, अब पानी साफ कैसे हो? कचरा फैल तो एक पल में जाता है, समेटने में बहुत श्रम लगता है।

देखें, मन तो ऐसा है कि इस पर हर भाव अंकित हो जाता है, इसी को संस्कार कहते हैं। न मालूम कब संसार के संस्कार का बीज पड़ा, अंकुर फूटा, वृक्ष बढ़ा, फूल लगे और फल बने। उन फलों से पुनः अनन्त बीज बन कर इसी मन की भूमि में पड़ते रहे, अब यह घोर घना जंगल कैसे कटे?

मेरे भाई बहन! जल्दबाजी न करें, घबराएँ नहीं, समझकर चलें। मुश्किल भले लगे, असंभव नहीं है। याद रखें-

"तलाशे यार में जो ठोकरें खाया नहीं करते।

कभी वो मंजिले मकसूद को पाया नहीं करते॥"

इससे पहले कि मृत्यु आए, यदि नया संस्कार न पड़े, और पिछले मिटते चले जाएँ, तो बात बन जाए।

तो एक काम करें, लोकेशानन्द की बात मान कर, दो की आड़ ले लें। संत और भगवान का सहारा ले लें। संत के संग और संत की सेवा से मन का पिछला मैल साफ हो जाता है, और भगवान के नामजप और रूपध्यान से नए दाग नहीं पड़ते। तब स्वाभाविक ही, विषयाकार मन भगवदाकार हो जाता है, तब बंधन नहीं रहता।

Just as the same key opens and closes the lock, the same mind is the cause of bondage, and the same can be the cause of salvation.

Just as the lock is locked by turning the key in one direction, and opened by turning in the opposite direction, the mind attached to the world is binding, so if it is engaged in Bhagwan, it provides salvation.

Nothing will happen by condemning the key, key didn't lock the lock, it is the one who turns the key. In the same way, what will happen by condemning mind? Because the mind itself is not engaged in the world, you have put it. It is a different matter that it was not engaged today, it was ever engaged. Just when the ball rolled down the stairs, it kept rolling. Soil got mixed in the water, now how to clean water? Garbage spills in an instant, it takes a lot of effort to collect.

See, mind is such that every emotion is imprinted on it, this is called sanskar. Don't know when the seed of the world's sanskar was sown, seedling sprouted, tree grew, flowered and became fruit. After becoming eternal seeds from those fruits, they kept falling in the land of this mind, now how this very dense forest could be cut?

My siblings! Don't be in haste, don't panic, go slow. Though it is difficult, it is not impossible. Remember- The one who does not get stumbling to achieve the goal, he never gets the goal.

Before death comes, if there is no new imprints on mind, and the previous ones go on disappearing, then the work is done.

So do one thing, following Lokeshanand's words, take the shelter of two. Take the help of sant and Bhagwan. With the company and service of a sant, previous filth of mind is cleared, and by chanting and meditation new stains are not created. Then naturally, the lustful mind turns divine, then there is no bondage.
