162 संत का संग

मनुष्य को इतनी परेशानियाँ हैं, दुख है, उद्वेग, चिन्ता, तनाव, उहापोह है, कि उसके लिए संसार का रास्ता काटना भी बड़ा बोझ है। चाहे संसार में मन से कोई आपके साथ हो या न हो, तन से तो हजारों की भीड़ साथ है। चाहे यहाँ सौ गिराने वाले, धक्का देने वाले हैं, पर झूठे मन से ही सही, हाथ बढ़ाकर सहारा देने वाले भी हैं।

यहाँ सूर्य प्रकाश न भी हो तो कृत्रिम प्रकाश की व्यवस्था है। जाने पहचाने रास्ते हैं। सारे नक्शे उपलब्ध हैं। सड़कों पर तीर के निशान लगे हैं। हर स्थान की दूरी और दिशा निश्चित है।

रोज किसी से बातें होती हैं। मनोरंजन के हजार साधन हैं। मित्र हैं, सम्बन्धी हैं। और भी कुछ ना कुछ चलता ही रहता है। मन लगा ही रहता है। फिर भी चलना सरल नहीं, बड़ी तड़प है। इतनी तड़प कि कौन है जिसने कभी ना कभी मरने की चाह न की हो?

ऐसे में चर्चा चलती है, भगवन्मार्ग की, भीतर की। जो मार्ग मन में बनाना है। जहाँ कोई निश्चित मार्ग नहीं मालूम पड़ता। दूरी का अनुमान नहीं लगता। प्रकाश की व्यवस्था नहीं है, गहरा अंधकार मालूम पड़ता है। मंजिल भी अंजान है। पता भी स्पष्ट नहीं। कब तक चलना है कौन जाने?

ऊपर से रास्ता भी बना बनाया नहीं है, धुंधली धुंधली रेखाएँ भर हैं। चारों ओर सन्नाटा पसरा है, सूना सूना है। किसी को साथ ले भी नहीं सकते, क्योंकि दूसरा तो यहाँ बाधा बन जाता है। यहाँ तो चलना भी अकेले ही है।

और तो और, रास्ते में रुकना भी गुनाह है। रुके कि भटके। तो रुक भी नहीं सकते। लगातार चलना है। कदम कदम पर फिसलन है। और गिरे तो संभलना भी स्वयं ही है।

आप स्वयं विचार करें कि जिसे संसार में ही चलना मुसीबत है, वह भगवान के रास्ते पर कैसे चलेगा? देखो, एक काम करो, किसी को चोरी छुपे साथ ले लो। किसे? किन्हीं संत को साथ ले लो।

इस प्रकार साथ ले लो कि किसी को मालूम भी न पड़े। उनका स्वरूप पकड़कर अपने मन में छिपा लो, अपनी बुद्धि में उनके ज्ञान का दीपक जला लो।

ध्यान दो! वो प्रकाशस्वरूप हैं, मार्गदर्शक हैं, सहायक हैं, प्रेरक हैं, सदा सदा के साथी हैं, इस मार्ग के जानने वाले हैं, वे स्वयं इससे गए हैं, तुम्हें भी ले जा सकते हैं।

लोकेशानन्द का अनुभव है कि फिर कोई परेशानी नहीं, कोई उधेड़बुन नहीं। फिर तो बस पहुँच ही गए समझो।

यही है "ध्यानमूलं गुरुर्मूर्तिम्"॥

Man has so many troubles, sorrows, worries, tensions, agitations and hesitations, that even the path of the world is a big burden for him. Whether someone is with you with all his heart or not, but here is a crowd of thousands. Even though there are hundred pullers and pushers here, but there are also those who extend their hands to support.

Even if there is no sunlight here, there is a provision of artificial lighting. There are well-known routes. All maps are available. There are arrow marks on the roads. The distance and direction of each place is fixed.

You talk to someone everyday. There are a thousand means of entertainment. Friends, relatives. And something always keeps on happening. The mind remains. Still, walking is not easy, it is a great pain. So much that who is here who never thought of dying?

In such a situation, the discussion goes on, about spiritual path. The path which has to be made in the mind. Where there is no definite path. Distance is not estimated. There is no arrangement of light, there seems to be deep darkness. The destination is also unknown. Address not clear. Who knows how long to walk?

The path is not even made, only blurred lines are there. There is silence all around, it is deserted. You cannot even take anyone with you, because the other becomes a hindrance here. Here you have to walk alone.

Moreover, stopping on the way is also a sin. So you can't even stop. Have to walk continuously. The step is slippery. And if you fall, you have to recover yourself.

You yourself should think that the one who has trouble walking in the world, how will he walk on spiritual path? Look, do one thing, take someone with you secretly. Whom? Take a sant with you.

Take him in such a way that no one even knows. Hold and hide his form in your mind. Light the lamp of his knowledge in your intellect.

Pay attention! He is the light, the guide, the helper, the inspirer, the eternal companion, the knower of this path, he himself has gone through it, can take you too.

Lokeshanand's experience is that then there is no trouble, there is no fuss. Then you are just about to reach.
