195 भगवान की कथा

भगवान की कथा, कथा के श्रोता को तो धन्य करती ही है, कथा का वक्ता भी कोई कम धन्य नहीं होता, बल्कि वह तो कहीं अधिक ही धन्यता का अनुभव करता है।

कथा करते समय तो मानो देह का भान ही नहीं रहता, गजब का उत्साह, अकल्पनीय आनन्द रहता है। कितना बड़भागी है वह मनुष्य जिसका जीवन भगवान की कथा करते हुए ही बीतता हो। और बीच कथा में ही प्राणोत्सर्ग हो जाए, देह गिर जाए, ऐसी अभिलाषा किस भगवद्भक्त की न होगी?

हमें विचार करना चाहिए कि हमारे जीवन में वह दिन कब आएगा, जब हमारे भी मुख के खुलते ही, शास्त्र सम्मत, स्वानुभूत भगवान की कथा, बिना ही किसी प्रयास के, स्वाभाविक बहने लगेगी? तब जैसे एक माली जिस भी बगिया से गुजरता है, कोई न कोई फूल खिलाता चलता है, वैसे ही हम भी जिस किसी के जीवन को छू जाएँगे, उसका मन भगवान की सुगंध से महका जाएँगे।

पर हमें एक बात विशेष रूप से ध्यान रखनी चाहिए। वह यह कि हमें जल्दबाजी नहीं करनी, कथा याद करने का प्रयास नहीं करना। चाहे थोड़ा बहुत ही सही, पर दृढ़ता पूर्वक नामजप करके, किन्हीं आत्मज्ञानी महात्मा को अपनी सेवा से संतुष्ट कर उनके मुख से आत्मज्ञान का उपदेश सुनकर, पहले भगवान को अपने भीतर उतारना है, पहले स्वयं पाना है।

बस ऐसा हो जाए तो भगवान की यह पतितपावनी कथा बिना किसी प्रयास के, अपनेआप ही निकलने लगेगी। ठीक वैसे ही जैसे किसी फूल के खिलने पर, सुगंध अपनेआप फैलने लगती है।

जैसे गोंद से चिपकाए गया कागज का फूल दुनिया वालों की नजरों को तो धोखा दे सकता है, पर उन पर भंवरे नहीं आया करते, उनसे शहद नहीं बना करता, वैसे ही बाहर से सीख कर, या याद करके कथा करने से, दुनिया तो रीझ सकती है, पर वह प्राण प्रिय भगवान नहीं रीझते। ऐसी कथा से न हमारा कल्याण होगा न श्रोता का, न ही किसी अन्य का। यह तो ऐसा ही है-

"साखी लाये जोड़कर, इत उत अक्षर काट।

कह कबीर कब लौं जिए झूठी पत्तल चाट॥"

अन्यथा मत लेना, लोकेशानन्द का समस्त प्रयास यही है कि कैसे आप भगवान को पा लें।

Bhagwan's Katha not only blesses the listener, the speaker itself is no less blessed, even he feels much more blessed.

While telling Katha, it is as if there is no awareness of the body, there is tremendous enthusiasm, unimaginable joy. How much fortunate is the person whose life is spent only in telling Bhagwan's Katha. And if death comes in the middle of Katha, then what to say. Which devotee would not have such a desire?

We should think that when will that day come in our life, when even with the opening of our mouth, the scriptural, self-realized Bhagwan's Katha, will flow naturally without any effort? Then, just as a gardener walks through a garden, and goes on blooming one or the other flower, in the same way everyone whose life we ​​will touch, his heart will be filled with Bhagwan's fragrance.

But we should keep one thing in particular. That we should not hurry, do not try to remember the Katha. Even if a little, but if we chant Bhagwan's Name with determination, satisfy some enlightened sage with our service, listen to the sermon about self-realization from his mouth, and first incarnate Bhagwan within, first attain Bhagwan, then this Bhagwan's Katha will start coming out on its own without any effort. Just like when a flower blooms, the fragrance starts spreading all-round automatically.

Just as a paper flower pasted with glue can deceive the eyes of the world, but the bees do not hover over them, they do not produce honey, similarly, by learning from outside, or by reciting Katha by remembering, the world may be pleased, but beloved Bhagwan could not be pleased. Such a Katha will neither benefit us, nor the listener, nor anyone else.

If you want to do so then listen to Kabir, he says that you can make a story by collecting words from here and there, but the question is, how long will you keep licking the spit of others?
