393 यौवन

धोखे में मत रहो! यौवन जीवन में केवल एक बार आता है। एक बार चला जाए तो फिर वह लौट कर नहीं आता।

इस यौवन की कीमत को समझो। यह बहुत कीमती है। अपने यौवन के समय को व्यर्थ की क्रियाओं में नष्ट मत करो। इसे व्यर्थ की चिंताओं में मत गंवाओ। जो कहीं नहीं पहुँचाती उस दौड़ में मत दौड़ो। इसे तो किसी कीमती कार्य में लगाओ। परमात्मा प्राप्ति में लगाओ।

विचार करो! आज तुम्हारे शरीर में शक्ति है, आँखों में तेज है, मुख पर चमक है, हाथों में बल है। आज तुम चाहो तो पहाड़ों का सीना चीर सकते हो। तूफ़ानों को ललकार सकते हो। सागर की छाती पर सवार हो सकते हो। पर समय आएगा, जब तुम हाथ हिलाना चाहोगे और वह हिलेगा नहीं। पाँव से चलना चाहोगे और वे चलेंगे नहीं।

आज तुम्हारी आँखें आकाश में देखती हैं, पर समय आएगा, जब पास रखी लाठी भी तुम्हें दिखाई न देगी। आज ही साधन करने का समय है। कल न मालूम क्या हो? यह भी नहीं मालूम कि कल आएगा भी या नहीं। इसीलिए बहानेबाजी छोड़ दो।

ध्यान दो! यदि तुम आज ही सन्मार्ग पर नहीं आए, तो कल प्रयत्न करने पर भी नहीं आ पाओगे।

लोकेशानन्द का एक सूत्र है, पाँच-पचास का। यौवन के पाँच वर्ष की असावधानी, और पचास वर्ष कष्ट। या, पाँच वर्ष साधन, और सदा सदा के लिए कष्ट से मुक्ति। चुनाव तुम्हारा है।

अभी समय है, अभी सही समय है, अभी ही समय है, संभल सको तो संभल जाओ। नहीं तो यह यौवन फिर कभी लौट कर नहीं आएगा।

Do not be deceived! Youth comes only once in life. Once gone, then it does not come back.

Understand the value of this youth. It is much valuable. Do not waste your youth in futile actions. Do not waste it in vain worries. Do not run in a race that leads nowhere. Apply it for some precious work. Use it to attain the divine, salvation.

Think! Today your body has power, eyes are sharp, face has glow, hands are strong. Today if you want, you can rip the chest of mountains. You can challenge the storms. You can ride on the ocean. But time will come, when you will want to move your hand and it will not move. You will want to walk with your feet and they will not walk.

Today, your eyes look in the sky, but the time will come when you will not even see your stick kept nearby. Today is the time to do the means. Nobody knows about tomorrow. It is not known whether tomorrow will come or not. This is why you will have to give up all the excuses.

Pay attention! If you do not come on the spiritual path today, you will not be able to come tomorrow.

There is a formula of Lokeshanand, five-fifty. Five years of negligence, and fifty years of suffering. Or, five years of spiritual means, and forever freedom from suffering. The choice is yours.

Still there is time, now is the right time, only now is the time, be careful if you can. Otherwise, this youth will never come back again.
