"संत समागम हरि कथा"

श्रीरामचरितमानस में दो वस्तु हैं, इतिहास और अध्यात्म। यह कोरा इतिहास नहीं है, पूर्व में घटी घटनाओं में आध्यात्मिक संदेश छिपा कर रखे गए हैं। इतिहास, संसारी को साधक बना देता है और अध्यात्म, साधक को सिद्ध बना देता है।

यही रामकथा सुनने के लिए महादेव भी कैलाश के शिखर से उतर कर, धुर सागर किनारे आते हैं।

जटाओं में गंगा होते हुए भी, सागर जैसी गहरी कथा सुनने, घड़े से पैदा हुए अगस्त ऋषि के पास आते हैं।

परमहंस शंकर हंस बनकर, कौए कागभुसुण्डी जी के पास आते हैं।

शेष जी कहते हैं कि मेरे सिर पर पृथ्वी है, पर मुझे भार नहीं लगता, क्योंकि मेरी गोद में राम जी बैठे हैं।

तो जिसके मन में रामकथा बैठ जाए, उसे दुनिया बोझ कैसे लगे?

वैसे तो कोयल मीठा बोलती है, कौआ कर्कश, पर तुलसीदास जी कहते हैं-

"मधुर वचन बोलेउ तब कागा"

यह कथा ही ऐसी है की कौए के मुख से भी मीठी ही लगती है।

यह इतनी कीमती कथा है, इतनी की तमाम दुनिया की सम्पत्ति त्याग कर भी यह कथा हृदय में उतर जाए, तो समझना सस्ते में मिल गई। पर यह मिलेगी कहाँ से?

देखो, भारद्वाज जी कथा सुनना चाहते थे, याज्ञवलक्य जी के पास गए। पार्वती जी शंकर जी से पूछती हैं, गरुड़ जी कागभुसुण्डी जी से।

आप किससे पूछते हो? आप एक दूसरे से पूछते हो। अच्छा पूछते भी हो, तो पूछने के लिए नहीं पूछते, कुछ बताने के लिए पूछते हो।

भैया! जिज्ञासा न हो तो पूछो ही मत, और जिज्ञासा हो तो यहाँ वहाँ मत पूछते फिरो, यहाँ वहाँ तो संशय बढ़ेगा ही, निवृत्त नहीं होगा। जाओ किसी संत से पूछो।

और जल्दबाजी मत किया करो, रुका करो, दस बीस दिन देख कर, परखकर, समझकर, फिर जहाँ आश्रय मालूम पड़े, वहाँ पूछा करो।

जो स्वयं आश्रयहीन है, वह आपको क्या आश्रय देगा? स्वयं संशयग्रस्त किसका संशय दूर करेगा? जो खुद बंधन में पड़ा हो, वह दूसरे को मुक्त कैसे करेगा?  

बस, यों पहले पतितपावन संत, फिर संत मुख से यह पतितपावनी रामकथा सुनने को मिल जाए, तो बात बन जाए।

"Sant samagam Hari Katha Tulsi durlabh doy"

Shriramcharitmanas has two things, history and spirituality. This is not history alone, spiritual messages have been hidden in events that happened in the past. History converts a worldly being in to a seeker and spirituality enlightens the seeker.

To hear the same story, Bhagwan Shiv also descends from the peak of Kailash and comes to the shore of the ocean.

In spite of the Ganga in his hair, to hear this deep story like an ocean, comes to sage August born from a pitcher.

Paramahams Shankar, becoming a swan, comes to a crow Kagbhusundi ji.

Sheshanaag ji says that there is earth on my head, but I don't feel weight, because Ram ji is sitting on my lap.

So, in whose mind Ramkatha sits, how can he feel the burden of the world?

Although cuckoo speaks sweet, crow speaks hoarse, but Tulsidas ji says-

"Madhur vachan tab boleu Kaga"

This story is such that it sounds sweet even after hearing from the mouth of a crow.

This is such a precious story, so precious that even after renouncing the wealth of the whole world, if this story gets in the heart, then also you should consider that it was found easily. But where will it be available?

Look, Bharadwaj ji wanted to hear this story, he went to Yagyavalakya. Parvati ji went to Shankar ji. Garud ji asks Kagbhusundi ji.

Whom do you ask? From each other? Well even if you ask an eligible one, you don't ask to ask, you ask to tell something your own.

Dear siblings! Don't ask if there is no curiosity. And if there is curiosity, don't ask here and there, it will increase your doubts. If you are curious, ask a sant.

And don't be hasty, stop for a while, look him for some days, examine, understand, and where you find shelter, ask there.

Who himself is shelterless, what shelter will he provide? How can one who is skeptical himself, remove the doubt of another? How will one who is in bondage himself, free the other?

That is, if you get to hear this holy Ram Katha from a holy Sant's mouth, then there is welfare.
