206 श्रद्धा और शंका

स्वामी राजेश्वरानंदजी कहते थे, भवरोग माने संसार में आना जाना।

संसार में दोनों हैं, संत भी संसारी भी। पर एक बड़ा अंतर है, संसारी भवरोगी है, संत भवरोग का वैद्य है। संसारी रोग के कारण यहाँ है, संत रोगी पर करुणा के कारण, रोग मिटाने के लिए यहाँ है।

भवरोग न मिट रहा हो, तो इसके दो कारण हैं। एक, जीवन में संत न हों, वैद्य न हों। दूसरा यह कि संत तो हों, पर आपकी उनपर श्रद्धा न हो। तो संत और संत पर श्रद्धा दोनों हों, तब भवरोग मिटे।

श्रद्धा तो इतनी कीमती है कि अगर संत भगवान से मिला भी दें, तो श्रद्धा के अभाव में क्या आप भगवान को पहचान लोगे? क्योंकि श्रद्धाविहिन तो अंधा है। श्रद्धा न हो, शंका हो, तो सामने खड़ा परमात्मा भी पहचान में नहीं आता। क्योंकि वह परमात्मा चमड़े की आँख से नहीं, श्रद्धा की आँख से जाना जाता है।

देखो, सतीजी और शंकरजी, दोनों ने रामजी को देखा। शंकरजी में श्रद्धा भरी थी, पहचान गए, सतीजी ने शंका से देखा तो पहचानती नहीं। शंकरजी ने समझाया भी कि सती शंका मत करो, पर अभिमान है कि शंकरजी की बात भी मानने नहीं देता।

अच्छा कम से कम यह भी स्वीकार कर लेतीं कि भूल हो गई, तो भी ठीक था, क्योंकि अपने अज्ञान का ज्ञान भी तो ज्ञान है। और जिसे अपने में अज्ञान दिखता है, उसे ही संत में ज्ञान दिखता है, और फिर उसे ही जगत में भगवान दिखता है।

ऐसे समझो, मन एक बोतल है, यह शंका रूपी जल से भरी है, यह अभिमान से अकड़ी खड़ी है, और इस पर कपट का ढक्कन भी लगा है।

कोई अगर अपने मन से कपट का ढक्कन हटाकर, अभिमान की अकड़ छोड़कर, झुकने को तैयार हो, तो उसमें भरा शंका का जल निकलकर बह जाए, तब संत उसमें वह भर दें, जिससे वे स्वयं भरे हैं। श्रद्धा से, परमात्मप्रेम के अमृत से भर दें।

Our main disease is to be born and die in the world.

There are two types of people in the world, sants and worldly human. But there is a big difference, the worldly human is a patient, the sant is the physician. The worldly human is here because of disease, the sant is here to cure the disease, due to compassion on the patient.

If the disease is not erasing, there are two reasons. One, there is no sant in life, no physician. Or, there may be a sant, but you don't have reverence for the sant. If there are both, the sant and reverence for the sant, then the disease is erased.

Reverence is so precious that even if a sant introduces you to Bhagwan, how will you recognize Him in the absence of reverence? Because the one who doesn't have reverence, is blind. If there is no reverence, doubt is there, then even if Bhagwan is standing in front, you can't recognize Him. Because He is known not by the outer eye, but by the eye of reverence.

Look, both Sati ji and Shankar ji saw Shri Ram. Shankar ji was filled with reverence, he recognized, Sati ji looked suspiciously, and didn't recognized. Even Shankar ji explained, that Sati! You shouldn't doubt, but she doesn't accept Shankar ji's words.

Well at least she should had accepted that she made a mistake, it was okay, because knowledge of ignorance is also knowledge. And he who sees ignorance in himself, sees knowledge in a sant, and then sees Bhagwan in the world.

Think of it as if mind is a bottle, it is full of water of doubt, it is arrogantly standing, and there is a lid of deception on it.

If someone is willing to bow down, leaving the arrogance, removing the lid of deception, then the water of doubt will flow away. Only then the sant can fill your mind, with which he himself is filled, with reverence, with the nectar of divine love.
