209 उमा की परीक्षा

उमा की बड़ी कड़ी परीक्षा हुई, पर उमा पास हो गई।

परीक्षा क्या है? अध्यात्म मार्ग में तुम्हारी श्रद्धा की परीक्षा ही एकमात्र परीक्षा है।

श्रद्धा न टूटी तो पास, टूट गई तो फेल।

शंकरजी ने सप्तॠषियों को भेजा। शंकरजी कहते हैं, जिस सती ने मेरे हजार कहने पर भी, बिना परीक्षा लिए भगवान को स्वीकार न किया, मैं बिना परीक्षा लिए उसे कैसे स्वीकार कर लूं?

और सच्चा साधक वो जो परीक्षा दे, जो गुरू की ही परीक्षा लेता फिरे, वो कैसा साधक?

उमा कहती है- महाराज! मैं शंकरजी को गुरु रूप में पाना चाहती हूँ।

सप्तॠषियों ने दो शंका उठाई, पहली शंका नारदजी पर, दूसरी शंकरजी पर।

पर उमा कहती है कि मैं नारदजी के उपदेश को नहीं छोड़ सकती।

सप्तॠषि- क्यों हम संत नहीं हैं?

उमा- हैं महाराज! पर आप बाद में मिले, नारदजी पहले मिल गए, मुझे आप पहले मिल जाते तो आपकी बात मान जाती।

और आपकी तो बात ही क्या है, यदि शंकरजी स्वयं, एक बार नहीं सौ बार कहें, तो भी मैं नारदजी का उपदेश नहीं छोड़ सकती।

यह है श्रद्धा॥

दूसरे, शंकरजी चाहे अवगुणों का घर ही क्यों न हों, दूसरे में लाख गुण हों, पर मैं उनकी हो चुकी हूँ। इस देह से तो अब मैं शंकरजी के सिवा किसी और का स्वप्न में भी चिंतन नहीं कर सकती।

यह है श्रद्धा॥

देखो परीक्षा सबकी होती है, यहाँ ॠषियों ने ली, आपकी दुनियावाले लेते हैं। नहीं तो आपका ही मन परीक्षा लेने लगता है, तर्क परीक्षा लेने लगता है।

बस इस परीक्षा की घड़ी में, जब संत सद्गुरू पर आपकी श्रद्धा को कसौटी पर कसा जाता है, तब जो पास हो गया, वो पार हो गया।

Uma gave a rigorous examination, but Uma passed.

What is the exam? The test of your reverence, is the only test in the path of spirituality.

If reverence is unshakeable, you pass, if it shakes, you fail.

Shankar ji sent the Saptarishis. Shankar ji says- Despite my thousand explaining, Sati didn't accept Shri Ram without test, how can I accept her without a test?

And the true seeker is the one who gives the test, who takes sant's test, what kind of seeker he is?

Uma says- Maharaj! I want to get Shankar ji as a Guru.

The Saptarishis raised two doubts, the first on Narad, the second on Shankar.

But Uma says, I can't give up Narad ji's sermon.

Saptarishis- But why? Are we not sants?

Uma- You are! But you met later. Narad ji met first, if you would have met me first, I would have accepted you.

And what is your point, if Shankar ji himself, not once, but a hundred times, asks me to leave him, even then I can't give up the teachings of Narad ji.

This is reverence.

Secondly, even if Shankar ji is the house of demerits, and someone else has millions of merits, even then, I can't think of anyone other than Shankar even in my dream. I have accepted him from my heart.

This is reverence.

Look, everyone is tested, here the sages took the test, your test is taken by the people of the world. Otherwise your own mind starts to take test, logic starts to take test.

Just in the hour of this test, when your reverence for a Sant Sadhguru is tested, the one who has passed, crosses the world.
