212 नारद प्रसंग

नाद रंध्र की प्राप्ति वाले, आत्मज्ञानी जीवनमुक्त महात्माओं का ही नाम नारद है। ऐसे संत जो भगवान के हाथों का खिलौना हो गए, भगवान के यंत्र हो गए, भगवान जैसे चाहें वैसे नचाएँ, कोई परेशानी नहीं।

भगवान संसार की मोह रूपी रात्रि में सोए हुए, माया में रचे पचे जीवों को, इन्हीं नारदजी के माध्यम से कुछ भी उल्टा पुल्टा करा के जगाया करते हैं। वे निष्छल संत भी, अपने उपहास की परवाह ना करते हुए, भगवान का आदेश प्रसन्नता पूर्वक अपने माथे पर रख लिया करते हैं।

रामचरितमानस में नारद प्रसंग के माध्यम से साधकों को बड़े सुंदर संकेत दिए गए हैं। देखें-

१- कैसा ही साधन आपके द्वारा क्यों न किया गया हो, अंतःकरण का कामादि रहित हो जाना भगवद् कृपा का ही फल मानना चाहिए, उस साधन का नहीं।

२- कैसी भी ऊँची स्थिति उपलब्ध होने पर भी, अपने मुख से अपनी प्रशंसा न करनी चाहिए और गुरुजी के सामने तो कभी नहीं। साथ ही कभी भी गुरुजी के आदेश की अवज्ञा नहीं करनी चाहिए।

३- यह न समझें कि थोड़े में क्या बिगड़ता है? नारद जी ने दिखाया कि मैं माया का नगर बाहर से ही देखकर निकल जाता तो बच जाता, पर "चलो देख आएँ, हर्ज क्या है?" यह विचार करते ही गड़बड़ हो गई।

४- भगवान से, कुछ न ही माँगो तो गजब बात है, पर माँग ही बैठो तो यह कहना मत भूलें कि "शेष जैसी आपकी मर्जी"।

५- कुरूप हो जाने में, कामना पूर्ण न होने में, उपहास में, भगवान की कृपा ही हेतू है, उनमें हमारा कल्याण ही है।

६- संत तो गिर कर भी नहीं गिरता, भगवान उसे भूल की सजा देकर सज़ा देते हैं, सुंदर बना देते हैं। संत को कष्ट तो होगा, पर संभल जाएगा, संवर जाएगा।

लेकिन उसे गिरते हुए देखकर, तालियाँ बजाने वाला, संत को शीशा दिखाने वाला, इस प्रसंग में वर्णित शिवगणों की तरह राक्षस हो जाता है। लोकेशानन्द कहता है कि कालांतर में दुनिया उन उपहास करने वालों के मुंह पर थूकती है।

Narad is the name of enlightened Mahatmas who attained salvation. Such sants who have become the toy of Bhagwan's hands, have become instruments. They dance as Bhagwan wants, they have no problem.

Through these Narad ji, Bhagwan awakens the sleeping beings of the world, who are asleep in the night of attachment. And these desireless sants, regardless of their Derision, happily bow their forehead to Bhagwan's command.

In Ramcharitmanas, a Hindu ethology, the seekers are given very beautiful signs through Narad episode. See-

1- Whatever means you may have done, it should be considered the fruit of Bhagwan's grace.

2- Regardless of whatever hight you have achieved, you should not praise yourself and especially never in front of Guru ji. Also one should never disobey his Guru.

3- Don't think that what worsens in a little? Narad ji showed that I would have escaped seeing the city of Maya from outside, but "Come see, what is the harm?" It messed up.

4- If possible don't ask anything from Bhagwan, but if you ask, don't forget to say "Rest as you wish".

5- An ugly face, unfulfilled wishs, and taunts, are Bhagwan's grace, these are for our welfare.

6- The sant does not fall even after falling, Bhagwan punishes him for making a mistake and makes him pious again. The sant will suffer, but will be cared and groomed.

But seeing him falling, the one who applause, and show mirror to the sant, becomes a demon like the Shivgans mentioned in this episode. Lokeshanand says that the world spits on the face of those who did derision, over time.
