221 पुत्र कामेष्टि यज्ञ

दशरथजी ने गुरुजी को अपना दुख सुनाया। उन्हें दुख क्या है? यही कि भगवान नहीं मिले।

सोया हुआ मनुष्य भगवान के न मिलने का दुख नहीं मानता, संसार के न मिलने का दुख मानता है। पर जागा हुआ मनुष्य जानता है कि जैसे संतान के बिना भवन सूना है, भगवान के बिना जीवन सूना है।

देह मंदिर भगवान को बिठाने के लिए है। देह मंदिर की दीवारें जर्जर हो रही हैं, कब तक खड़ी हैं मालूम नहीं, इनके भरभरा कर गिरने से पहले ही भगवान आ जाएँ, तब जीवन का कोई अर्थ है।

गुरुजी ने कहा- धैर्य रखें! राम आएँगे।

दशरथजी ने पूछा- तो गुरुजी अब मुझे क्या करना है?

गुरुजी ने कहा- परमात्मा करने का फल नहीं है। करने का फल तो सद्गुरू का मिलना है। अब बस अपने घर में बैठ जाओ। घर में, माने घट में, मन में, अंतर्मुख होकर बैठ जाओ।

पर यही करना तो सबसे कठिन है। तन को तो रोक लें, मन को कैसे रोकें? जैसे गाडी खड़ी तो हो, पर हो स्टार्ट। ऐसे ही तन लाख बैठा रहे, पर मन तो कामनाओं की भड़भड़ भड़भड़ करता ही रहता है।

काम घर से बाहर ले जाता है, कामना घट से बाहर ले जाती है। काम हो तो घर में कैसे बैठे रहें? कामना हो तो घट में कैसे बैठें? और जहाँ कामना हो वहाँ राम कैसे आएँ? आप घट में बैठ जाएँ, माने कामना न रहे, तो भगवान आएँ।

बस इसी के लिए नामजप नामक महायज्ञ है। यही यज्ञ का असल रूप है। देह ही यज्ञमंडप है, वासना रहित अंतःकरण ही सूखी लकड़ी है, सत रज तम, त्रिगुण ही जौ चावल तिल हैं, ज्ञान ही अग्नि है, यज्ञ की पूर्णता पर, त्रिगुण-त्रिदेह-त्रिवस्था जल जाने पर, मैं और मेरा के स्वाहा हो जाने पर, जब कामना बचती ही नहीं, अपनाआपा राम ही शेष रहते हैं, एकमात्र ब्रह्म ही बचता है। इसी ब्रह्म को "यज्ञ से बचा हुआ अन्न" कहा जाता है। इसीलिए कहा गया "अन्नम ब्रह्मेति व्याजानात" अन्न शब्द का अर्थ ब्रह्म जानो।

दशरथ जी श्रद्धावान हैं, गुरु जी पर विश्वास करने वाले हैं, विवाद करने वाले नहीं हैं। 

और अब उन्हें बस यही एक अंतिम यज्ञ करना बाकी रहा। लोकेशानन्द कहता है कि यह यज्ञ संपूर्ण हुआ कि भगवान के पधारने का समय आया।

Dashrath conveyed his grief to Guru ji. What is his grief? Bhagwan didn't come.

An unconscious man doesn't feel sorrow for not finding Bhagwan, but the awakened one knows that as a building is deserted without child, life without Bhagwan is deserted.

The body is a temple meant to seat Bhagwan. The body is getting tattered, one don't know how long it will stand? If Bhagwan incarnates before it falls down, then only the life has some meaning.

Guru ji said- Be patient! Bhagwan Ram will come.

Dashrath asked- Now what do I have to do, Guru ji?

Guru ji said- Bhagwan is not the fruit of doing. The result of doing means is to meet the Guru. Now just sit within. Sit down in the mind. Get introverted.

But this is the most difficult task. One can stop the body, how to stop the mind? As if a car is parked, but the engine is on. Just like this, millions remain seated, but the mind keeps on rambling.

The work takes you out of the house, desires take you out of the innerself. How can you sit at home if you have work? How to sit within, if you have desires? Where there is desire, how Bhagwan can appear. If you give up your desires, if you sit within, only then Bhagwan appears.

For the same, there is a oblation called chanting 'Ram' or 'Om'. This is the real form of oblation, the body is the yagya mandap, the desireless mind is the wood, the sat raj tam, trigun is the barley rice and sesame, knowledge is the fire. At the completion of such an oblation, when the trigun-trideh-trivastha burn, me and mine burn, when there is no desire left, then only self realization remains.

Dasharath ji has reverence, he believes in Guru ji.

He just has to perform this one final oblation. Lokeshanand says that once this was completed, the time will come for Bhagwan to come.
