226 अहिल्या प्रसंग

अहिल्या को भगवान वाल्मिकी कहते हैं-

"अहनि लीयतेते स: अहिल्या"

माने ऐसी बुद्धि जिसमें देह की छाया भी न पड़ती हो। जो बुद्धि परमात्मज्ञान से प्रकाशित है, कि जिसके प्रकाश में देह दिखाई न दे, देह की सुधि न रहे। माने देहाध्यास रहित बुद्धि।

अहिल्या जब तक संत सेवा में रत थी, पूजनीया थी, पर जिस दिन इन्द्रियों के राजा इन्द्र, माने मन के छल में पड़ी, वासना के कीचड़ में रमण करने लगी, उस दिन पापग्रस्त हो गई, श्रापग्रस्त हो गई।

बुद्धि जब तक चेतन का चिंतन करती थी तब तक चेतन थी, जड़ जगत से जुड़ी कि जड़ हो गई। यही अहिल्या का पत्थर हो जाना है।

"जो भरा नहीं है भावों से,

बहती जिसमें रसधार नहीं।

वो हृदय नहीं एक पत्थर है,

जिसमें स्वदेश का प्यार नहीं॥"

जिस बुद्धि में भाव नहीं, परमात्मप्रेम की धारा नहीं, अपने देश, आत्म प्रदेश की लगन नहीं, वह बुद्धि बुद्धि नहीं, वह तो पत्थर है।

और वह पत्थर केवल वहीं नहीं पड़ा, वैसा ही पत्थर हम सब के पास भी है। जिसकी भी बुद्धि संसार में लगी है, उसके कंधों पर जो खोपड़ी का भार है, वह इसी पत्थर का ही भार है। बस अब प्रश्न यह है कि यह पत्थर चेतन कैसे हो?

तो एकमात्र मार्ग यही है कि मार्ग पर पड़े रहो, साधन मार्ग मत छोड़ो, रास्ते पर रहो, भागो मत, घबराओ मत, सर्दी गर्मी बरसात धूल धक्का भूख प्यास ताना गाली, जो मिले, सहन करो, शिकायत तक न करो।

एक दिन उस रास्ते पर संत आएँगे, भगवान भी साथ ही होंगे, आप तो देख न पाओगे, पर वे आपको देख लेंगे।

भगवान के पावन नाम "राम" के दो अक्षर ही उनके चरण हैं। और-

"पद पदम पराग सरस अनुरागा"

उन चरणों से अनुराग हो जाना ही चरण कमल की धूल मिल जाना है।

लोकेशानन्द कहता है कि समझो कि बात बन गई, पाप कट गया, कष्ट मिट गया, राम मिल गए।

Sant Valmiki says- "Ahni leeytete sah Ahilya"

Means an intellect who is beyond the body, who is illuminated by divine wisdom, in whose self light the body goes invisible, is Ahilya.

Ahilya was worshiped while she was engaged in service of a sant, but became sinful, was cursed, when indulged in the desires, in deceit of Indra, king of the senses, the mind.

That's why Ahilya turned into a rock block.

"Jo bhara nahi hai bhavo mein,

Behti jisme rasdhar nahi.

Wo hriday nahi ek patthar hai,

Jisme swadesh ka pyar nahi."

An intellect which have no stream of divine sentiments, who is not devoted to Bhagwan, is unconscious, is a stone.

We also have the same stone. The mind that is lustful, is a stone. Now the question is, how will this stone be conscious again?

Only way is to stay on the path, bear the hardships of winter, summer, rain, dust, hunger, thirst, taunt and abuse, but don't leave the path, don't run away, don't panic.

One day the sant will come on that path, Bhagwan will also be with him, you may not be able to identify Him, but He will recognize you.

The two letters of the Bhagwan's name "Ra-m" are his two feet, chanting is the path, and-

"Pad padam paraag saras anuraga."

To fall in love with Bhagwan is to get dust of his feet.

Lokeshanand says that this is how the goal is achieved, sins dissolve, sorrows end, Ram appears.
