231 जनकपुर भ्रमण

भगवान गुरूजी से आज्ञा लेकर, लक्ष्मणजी को जनकपुर दिखाने चले, तो जनकपुर में हलचल मच गई। 

कईं सखियाँ घर का कामधंधा छोड़ कर भगवान को देखने गलियों में निकल आईं। जो घर नहीं छोड़ सकती थीं, उन्होंने अपने बालकों को भगवान की ओर दौड़ा दिया, और स्वयं अपने घर के झरोखों से आ लगीं।

सुंदर संकेत यह कि जो संसार की जिम्मेदारियों से मुक्त हैं, वे तो समर्पित हो ही जाएँ, पर जिन पर अभी जिम्मेदारी है, वे अपने घर में रहते हुए ही, अपने मन रूपी पुत्र को भगवान में लगा, इन्द्रियों रूपी खिड़कियों से भगवान का दर्शन लाभ लिया करें।

अब भगवान का सौंदर्य इतना है कि उन पर जिसकी दृष्टि पड़ती है वह लौटती ही नहीं। भगवान पर ही अटक कर रह जाती है, फिर भटकती नहीं।

संकेत यह कि उसी की दृष्टि भटकती है, जिसकी दृष्टि संसार पर टिकी है। और संसार में उसी की दृष्टि अटकती है, जिसकी दृष्टि में अभी तक भगवान नहीं आए।

भगवान दृष्टि में आ जाएँ तो इन्द्रियाँ संसार कि ओर बहना ही छोड़ दें। जिसे जगदीश मिल गए, उसे जगत में कुछ मिलना बाकी नहीं रहा।

सखियों ने तो भगवान को देखा सो देखा, अब चाहती हैं कि भगवान भी हमारी ओर देखें। पर न तो भगवान ही देखते हैं, न लक्ष्मणजी को ही देखने देते हैं। दोनों नजर उठा कर नहीं चलते, झुका कर चलते हैं।

लक्ष्मणजी ने पूछा कि आप उन्हें देखते क्यों नहीं? रामजी कहते हैं, लक्ष्मण! मुझे देखने में एतराज नहीं, सिर उठाने में एतराज है। भूलो मत, यह सीताजी का नगर है, भक्ति का नगर है। भक्ति के नगर में तो सिर झुका हुआ ही रहना चाहिए।

लोकेशानन्द का मत है जिस रास्ते पर भगवान का भी सिर झुका रहता हो, वहाँ हम सिर उठाकर, अपने को "कुछ" समझकर, अहं में फूलकर चलें, यह शोभा नहीं देता।

"कईं तेज राह भटक गए,

कईं सुस्त हो गए लापता।

जो माँ के चरणों में झुक गए,

उन्हें आके मंजिल ने पा लिया॥"

Taking Guru ji's permission, when Bhagwan Ram went out to show Janakpur to Lakshman, there was a sputter in Janakpur.

Many left their household work and came out into the streets to visit Ram. Who couldn't leave the house, ran their children to visit Ram, and they themselves came to the windows of their homes.

Beautiful sign is that those who are free from the responsibilities of the world, should dedicate their lives to Ram. But those who still have responsibility, while staying in their houses, should surrender their heart, and through the windows of their senses should take advantage of the vision.

Now Bhagwan is so beautiful that the one who sees him doesn't return, doesn't wander, gets stuck.

Indicating that the sight of such a person wanders, whose vision is stuck in the world. And his eyes are stuck in the world, in whose sight Bhagwan hasn't came yet.

If Bhagwan comes in sight, the senses stop flowing towards the world. Whosoever got a glance, he doesn't aspire to get anything in the world.

Girls looked at Ram and now they want Him to look at them. But neither Ram sees himself, nor allows Lakshman to see. Both don't lift the eyelids, they don't lift their heads.

Lakshman asked why you don't see them? Ram said, Lakshman! I don't mind seeing, but would mind raising head. Don't forget, this is the city of Seeta, the devotion. The head should remain bowed here.

Lokeshanand is of the opinion that on the path where even Bhagwan's head is bowed, we shouldn't lift our head, shouldn't think of ourselves as somebody, shouldn't walk in the ego.

Many fast walkers have gone astray, many dull are lost, who bowed down, got his destination.
