244 कर्म और लोभ

पिछले तीन दिनों से राम वनवास के कारणों पर विचार किया जा रहा है, जिसमें व्यवहारिक और भावपूर्ण पक्ष रखा गया। आज आध्यात्मिक पक्ष।

कैकेयी कर्म की प्रतीक हैं, यह कर्म जब अनुकूल था, तब सीता जी को स्वर्ण महल, कनक भवन मुँह दिखाई में दिया, कर्म प्रतिकूल हुआ तो राज्य से ही निकलना पड़ रहा है।

विचार करें कि कर्म बिगड़ा क्यों?

देखें, रामचरितमानस में दो पात्र हैं जिनके नाम में "रा" और "म" आते हैं। राम और मंथरा। पर क्रम उलट गया। राम नाम कहता है भगवान पहले, जीव बाद में। मंथरा कहती है कि मैं जीव को आगे, राम को पीछे कर दूंगी।

ध्यान दें, कैकेयी जहाँ कर्म है, मंथरा लोभ है। यह मंथरा कैकेयी के साथ ही रहती है, बस जब तक कर्म लोभ को दबा रखता है राम जी रहते हैं, जैसे ही लोभ कर्म पर चढ़ जाता है, राम जी चले जाते हैं।

और अकेले नहीं जाते, लोभ के चढ़ते ही, राम रूपी सुख के साथ ही, सीता रूपी शांति और लक्ष्मण रूपी वैराग्य भी चले जाते हैं। अंतर्मुखी मन दशरथ भी मर जाता है, लोभ ग्रस्त मन तो मरा ही हुआ है।

समझें, आपने कर्म किया, माने नाम जप किया, भगवान के स्वरूप का ध्यान किया, फल मिला कि अंतःकरण में भगवान उतर आए। अब आपको किसी व्यक्ति या वस्तु की इच्छा हो आई, लोभ आ गया, अंतःकरण ने उस व्यक्ति या वस्तु का स्वरूप पकड़ा, राम जी का स्वरूप छूट गया। बस यही राम जी का चले जाना है।

लोकेशानन्द के प्रश्न पर विचार करें कि कितना जप किया, कितने सोपान चढ़े, कितना प्रयास लगा, समय लगा, कितनी कठिनाई से भगवान को मन में उतारा, और दो कौड़ी की चीज के लोभ में, जगत की किसी वस्तु में सुखबुद्धि करके, सारे किए कराए पर पानी फेर देने में कौन सी बुद्धिमानी है?

और यह एक बार नहीं हुआ है, अनन्त जन्मों से यही भूल लगती आती है। बार बार माया चारा फेंक देती है, हर बार दुर्घटना घट जाती है।

And Ram doesn't go alone, as soon as the greed goes up, along with Him (bliss), peace-Seeta and detachment-Lakshman also go away. The introverted intellect Dasharath also dies. A greed-ridden mind is dead itself.

Understand, you did the deeds, chanted, meditated, got the result that Bhagwan incarnated. Now you desired something, greed emerged, your mind caught the form of that desired thing, forgot the image of Ram. This is the exile of Ram.

Think upon Lokeshanand's question that how much chanting, how many steps, how much efforts, how much time it took, with so much difficulties Bhagwan incarnates, and in the greed of something, by assuming pleasure in any single thing in the world, what is the wisdom in destroying all your hard work?

And this has not happened once, this mistake is being made from eternal births. Again and again Maya throws the bait, each time accident happens.
