259 प्रयाग निरूपण

आज राम जी भारद्वाज ऋषि के पास पहुँचे हैं। भारद्वाज जी प्रयागराज में रहते हैं। प्रयाग भी दो प्रकार का है, बाहर का और भीतर का।

तुलसीदास जी लिखते हैं "साधु समाज प्रयाग"। एक खड़ा प्रयाग है, एक चलता फिरता प्रयाग है, वहाँ तीन नदियों का संगम है, यहाँ तीन धाराओं का संगम है।

ये तीन धाराएँ कौन सी हैं?

"राम भगति जहँ सुरसरि धारा।"

गंगा माने भक्ति की धारा, यही वास्तविक कल्याण करती है, इसी धारा में डुबकी लगाने से पाप मिटता है।

"सरसई ब्रह्म विचार प्रसारा॥"

ज्ञान की, ब्रह्मविचार की धारा ही सरस्वती है, बाहर भी यह छिपी है दिखती नहीं, भीतर भी किसमें ज्ञान बह रहा है मालूम नहीं पड़ता, छिपा रहता है।

"विधिनिषेधमय कलिमल हरनि।

कर्मकथा रविनंदिनी बरनि॥"

क्या करना, क्या न करना, ऐसी कर्म की धारा यमुना है। कर्म यमुना सूर्यपुत्री है, इसका भाई यम सूर्यपुत्र कर्मफल दाता है।

संत तो भक्ति ज्ञान और कर्म का संगम है, बाहर का प्रयाग कुछ देता है कि नहीं मालूम नहीं, पर संत मुक्तिदाता हैं।

यहाँ भारद्वाज जी के साथ भगवान का बड़ा ही विचित्र प्रश्नोत्तर हुआ। राम जी ने पूछा, मार्ग क्या है? कहाँ जाना है, यह नहीं पूछा।

भारद्वाज मुनि ने आवाज लगाई, जो जो मार्ग जानते हैं, आ जाएँ। पचास आए, 18 पुराण, 18 स्मृतियाँ, 10 उपनिषद् और 4- रामचरितमानस, श्रीमद्भागवत्, श्रीमद्भगवद्गीता और ब्रह्मसूत्र। 46 पहले वाले लौटा दिए गए, 4 को राम जी के साथ भेजा गया।

पर देखें, वे चार ही कदम चले थे कि यमुना का किनारा आ गया, और राम जी ने उन्हें लौटा दिया। विचार करें क्यों?

क्योंकि शास्त्र मार्गदर्शक है, मार्ग नहीं है। मानचित्र है, रास्ता नहीं है। वह रास्ता बता सकता है, चलना तो फिर स्वयं ही पड़ता है।

लोकेशानन्द कहता है कि शास्त्र कर्म की धारा यमुना दिखा देता है, उस धारा को पार तो आपको ही करना पड़ेगा।

Today Ram ji has reached to sage Bharadwaj. Bharadwaj ji lives in Prayagraj. Prayag is of two types, outer and inner.

Tulsidas ji writes "Sadhu Samaj Prayag".

One is a steep Prayag, there is a confluence of three rivers. Second is moving Prayag, here is a confluence of three streams.

What are these three streams?

"Ram bhagati jahan Sursari dhara."

Ganga means stream of devotion, this does the real welfare, by taking a dip in this stream, sins are erased.

"Sarsai Brahm vichar prasara."

The stream of self enlightenment is Saraswati. It is hidden outside, not visible, even inside it remains hidden, it doesn't seem to know in whom how much knowledge is flowing.

"Vidhi nishedhmay kalimal harni,

Karm katha Ravinandini barani."

What to do, what not to do, the stream of such action is Yamuna, Yamuna is Sun's daughter, her brother Yam is king of death and justice.

The sant is a confluence of devotion, self enlightenment and karma.

Prayag outside gives something or not we don't know, but sants give salvation.

Here Ram ji's very strange talk happened with Bharadwaj. Ram ji asked- What is the path? Didn't ask where to go.

Bharadwaj called loudly- Who knows the path? Fifty came, 18 Puran, 18 Smriti, 10 Upanishad and 4-

SriRamcharitmanas,

Srimad Bhaagvat,

Srimad Bhagvadgita and

Brahmsutra.

46 earlier ones were returned, 4 were sent along with Shri Ram.

But see, they had gone only four steps that the river Yamuna came, and Ram returned them too. Consider why?

Because scriptures are the guide, they are Atlas, not the way. They can show the way, but you have to walk on your own.

Lokeshanand says that scriptures show the stream of karma, you yourself have to cross that stream.
