261 त्रिकूट और चित्रकूट

आज भगवान वाल्मीकि जी के पास आए हैं, पूछते हैं, गुरु जी मैं कहाँ रहूँ?

वाल्मीकि जी कहते हैं, आप पूछते हैं "मैं कहाँ रहूँ?" तो यह तो बताइये कि आप कहाँ नहीं रहते?

देखें, आध्यात्मिक दृष्टि से तो परमात्मा सर्वव्यापक है, माने वह निराकार होकर सब जगह है। जैसे वायु सब जगह है, पर जब तक चले न तब तक अनुभव में नहीं आती। वह मालूम पड़े इसी के लिए पंखा है।

यों उस निराकार को एक नामरूप देकर, साकार बनाकर, अंत:करण में उतारे बिना, वह परमात्मा अनुभव में नहीं आता।

वाल्मीकि जी कहते हैं कि इस प्रकार आप सर्वव्यापक होते हुए भी, उस भक्त के अंतःकरण में रहते हैं, जिसने आपको नामरूप की डोरी से अपने भीतर उतार लिया।

इस प्रकार व्यवहारिक दृष्टि से तो आप एक ही जगह ठहर सकते हैं, आप भक्तों के हृदय में ही निवास करिए, माने आप चित्रकूट में निवास करिए।

ध्यान दें, भगवान चित्रकूट में ठहरते हैं। यदि आप अपना हृदय चित्रकूट बना लें, तो भगवान अभी इसमें ठहर जाएँ।

देखें कूट माने स्थित होना। रामायण में दो ही कूट हैं, चित्रकूट और त्रिकूट। त्रिकूट में रावण रहता है, चित्रकूट में राम जी रहते हैं। और आपका हृदय जब तक चित्रकूट नहीं बन जाता, त्रिकूट ही है।

त्रिकूट माने ऐसा हृदय जहाँ तीन, सत रज तम, स्थूल सुक्ष्म कारण, जागृत स्वप्न सुषुप्ति, काम क्रोध लोभ स्थित हों, वहाँ मोह रूपी रावण की सत्ता है।

और जिस चित् में, भगवान का एक चित्र, स्थित हो गया, एक स्वरूप उतर आया, कूटस्थ हो गया, वह चित् ही चित्रकूट है। तब तो-

"जिगर में छिपी है तस्वीर ए यार।

जब जरा नजरें झुकाई दीदार हो गया॥"

अब आप भी लोकेशानन्द की बात मान कर अपने चित् को चित्रकूट बनाने के लिए, नाम के जप और रूप के चिंतन में लगें, और भगवान को ठहरा लें।

Today Ram ji has come to Valmiki ji. Ram ji asks- Guru ji, where should I stay?

Valmiki ji says- You ask "Where do I stay?" First you tell me, is there a place where you don't live?

See, from spiritual view, Bhagwan is omnipresent, He is everywhere in a formless state. Just like air is everywhere, but until it flows, it doesn't come into experience. That is why we need a fan to feel the wind.

Thus, without giving a name and form to that formless Bhagwan and without embarking Him in the inner being, He doesn't come into experience.

Valmiki ji says that in this way, despite being ubiquitous, you live in the heart of devotees, who took you inside with the cords of name and form.

Thus You should reside in the heart of devotees, you should reside in Chitrakoot.

Note, Bhagwan resides in Chitrakoot. If you make your heart Chitrakoot, Bhagwan could stay in it now.

See "Koot" means to be located. There are two types of koots in the Ramayan, Chitrakoot and Trikoot. Ravan lives in Trikoot, Lanka. Ram ji lives in Chitrakoot. And until your heart becomes Chitrakoot, it is Trikoot only.

Trikoot means such a heart where three live- Sat, Raj, Tam; vital body, astral body, causal body; conscious, dream, deep sleep; lust, anger, greed. Ravan, the infatuation rules there.

And the heart in which Bhagwan's form has been located, one shape descended, situated forever, that heart is Chitrakoot. 

Then there is Bhagwan's picture in his heart, he closes his eyes, and sees Bhagwan.

Now you too, follow the advice of Lokeshanand, and make your heart Chitrakoot, start chanting name and contemplating form, and hold Bhagwan in your heart.
