265 दशरथ जी का देह त्याग, कर्मफल

इधर भरत जी ननिहाल में हैं, उधर अयोध्या में सुमंत्र जी भगवान को वन पहुँचा कर वापिस लौटे। संध्या हो रही है, हल्का प्रकाश है, सुमंत्र जी नगर के बाहर ही रुक गए। जीवन धन लुट गया, अब क्या मुंह लेकर नगर में प्रवेश करूं? अयोध्यावासी बाट देखते होंगे। महाराज पूछेंगे तो क्या उत्तर दूंगा? अभी नगर में प्रवेश करना ठीक नहीं, रात्रि हो जाने पर ही चलूँगा।

अयोध्या में आज पूर्ण अमावस हो गई है। रघुकुल का सूर्य दशरथ जी अस्त होने को ही है, चन्द्र रामचन्द्र जी भी नहीं हैं, प्रकाश कैसे हो? सामान्यतः पूर्णिमा चौदह दिन बाद होती है, पर अब तो पूर्णिमा चौदह वर्ष बाद भगवान के आने पर ही होगी।

दशरथ जी कौशल्या जी के महल में हैं, जानते हैं कि राम लौटने वालों में से नहीं, पर शायद!!! उम्मीद की किरण अभी मरी नहीं। सुमंत्र जी आए, कौशल्या जी ने देखकर भी नहीं देखा, जो होना था हो चुका, अब देखना क्या रहा?

दशरथ जी की दृष्टि में एक प्रश्न है, उत्तर सुमंत्र जी की झुकी गर्दन ने दे दिया। महाराज पथरा गए। बोले-

"कौशल्या देखो वे दोनों आ गए"

-कौन आ गए महाराज ? कोई नहीं आया।

-तुम देखती नहीं हो, वे आ रहे हैं।

इतने में वशिष्ठ जी भी पहुँच गए।

-गुरु जी, कौशल्या तो अंधी हो गई है, आप तो देख रहे हैं, वे दोनों आ गए।

-आप किन दो की बात कर रहे हैं, महाराज?

-गुरु जी ये दोनों तपस्वी आ गए, मुझे लेने आए हैं, ये श्रवण के माता-पिता आ गए।

महाराज ने आँखें बंद की, लगे राम राम करने और वह शरीर शांत हो गया।

विचार करें, ये चक्रवर्ती नरेश थे, इन्द्र इनके लिए आधा सिंहासन खाली करता था, इनके पास विद्वानों की सभा थी, बड़े बड़े कर्मकाण्डी थे। इनसे जीवन में एक बार कभी भूल हुई थी, इनके हाथों श्रवणकुमार मारा गया था, इतना समय बीत गया, उस कर्म के फल से बचने का कोई उपाय होता तो कर न लेते?

लोकेशानन्द पूछता है कि यह जो आप दिन रात, उपाय उपाय करते, दरवाजे दरवाजे माथा पटकते फिरते हैं, आप समझते क्यों नहीं? आप को बुद्धि कब आएगी?

Here Bharat is in Kaikey state, there in Ayodhya, Sumantra left Shri Ram in the forest and returned. It is getting dusk, still there is light, Sumantra stayed outside the city. Today is complete moonless night in Ayodhya. Raghukul's Sun Dashrath is about to set, Moon Ramchandra is also not there, there is a dark shadow pouring around. Normally the full moon occurs after fourteen days, but in Ayodhya it will be after fourteen years, on the arrival of Ram.

Dashrath is in Kaushalya's palace, he knows that Ram is not coming back, but maybe!!! The silver lining has not over yet. Sumantra came, Kaushalya didn't even see, what had to happen has already happened, what is left to see now?

There is a question in the eyes of Dashrath, Sumantra's bowed head gave the answer. He glazed and said- Kaushalya! Look they both came.

Kaushalya- Who has come, Maharaj? Nobody came.

By then Gurudev Vashisth also reached there.

Dashrath said- Guru ji, Kaushalya has gone blind, you must be seeing, both of them have come.

Guru ji asked- Which two are you talking about Maharaj?

Dashrath said- Guru ji! Those two ascetics have come, they have come to pick me up, the parents of that Shravan Kumar, who was killed by me.

Dashrath closed his eyes, began to chant Ram Ram and departed.

Consider, he was the King, Indra used to vacate half his throne for him, he had a gathering of scholars in his court. He had made a mistake once in his life, Shravan Kumar was killed by him. So much time has passed, if there was a remedy to avoid the results of that killing, he wouldn't have done it?

Lokeshanand asks you this is what you do all day and night, asking for remedies, walk around every door banging your forehead, why don't you understand? When will you get wisdom?
