276 साधन किसी संत से लो

जाना तो सबको है, पर यहाँ मुख्यता भरत जी की है, वे जा रहे हैं, इसीलिए सब जा रहे हैं। सब मनमाने नहीं जा रहे, भरत जी के पीछे पीछे जा रहे हैं। और चलने का यही सही ढंग है।

यहाँ चल तो बहुत रहे हैं, पर मन मर्जी चलते हैं, भरत जी के, किसी संत के पीछे नहीं चलते। तभी तो चलते बहुत हैं, जन्मों जन्मों चलते हैं, पहुँचते कहीं नहीं। यह चलना ऐसा ही है जैसे कोई वायुयान चल तो बहुत तेजी से रहा हो, पर उसका दिशासूचक यंत्र बिगड़ा हो, मालूम न हो कि जा कहाँ रहा है?

तुलसीदास जी लिखते हैं-

"श्रुति सम्मत हरि भगति पथ संजुत विरति विवेक।

तेहिं न चलहिं नर मोहबस कल्पहिं पंथ अनेक॥"

दुनियावाले शास्त्र सम्मत, संत सम्मत मार्ग पर नहीं चलते, मोहवश अन्यान्य कल्पित पंथों में भटकने लगते हैं।

अयोध्यावासी अब भूल नहीं करते, वे अपनी इच्छा से साधन नहीं लेते, भरत जी से पूछकर साधन लेते हैं।

भरत जी ने सबको साधन दिया, किसी को हाथी दिया, किसी को घोड़ा, किसी को रथ, किसी को पालकी और स्वयं पैदल ही चले।

संकेत देखें, हाथी वाले ज्ञानी भक्त हैं। हाथी न ताली पर रीझता है, न गाली पर खीजता है, उसे किसी से कोई लेनादेना नहीं, वह तो अपनी मस्ती में झूमता चलता है। इसकी आँख छोटी है, सिर बड़ा, माने दृष्टि सूक्ष्म है, विचार बड़ा। वह निंदा-स्तुति, पाप-पुण्य, हार-जीत, राग-द्वेष, सबमें सम हो गया।

घोड़ा, मन ही घोड़ा है। इन पर घोड़ा सवार नहीं है, ये घोड़े पर सवार हैं, ये ऊपर हैं। माने इन्द्रियों का दमन करने वाले हैं, योगी हैं।

रथवाले धर्म का अवलम्बन करने वाले हैं। धर्म ही रथ है, शौर्य और धैर्य इसके पहिए हैं, सत्य और शील पताका हैं।

पालकी में भक्त बैठे हैं। ये इधर उधर नहीं देखते, बस भगवान का स्मरण करते, विश्वास किए बैठे हैं। जिसके कंधे पर पालकी का बोझ है, उसी पर हमारा भी है, ऐसी श्रद्धा है।

भरत जी पैदल ही चले। आपके पास कुछ भी न हो, पैर मात्र ही हों, तो भी चलो। और दो पैर माने दो पद, "रा" और "म" के सहारे चलो। लोकेशानन्द कहता है आप भी चलो, अब रुक मत जाना।

Everyone wants to go, but here Bharat is predominant. He is going, that's why everyone is going. All are not going by their own, they are following Bharat. And this is the right way to walk.

Many people walk, but they walk according to their mind, they don't follow any sant like Bharat. That is why they have been walking since births, but don't reach anywhere. This is like if an aircraft is moving very fast, but its compass is impaired, it is not known where it is going.

Tulsidas ji writes-

"Shruti sammat Hari bhagati path sanjut virti vivek,

Tehin na chalahin nar moh bas kalpahin panth anek."

People of the world don't follow the scriptures, don't follow the path accepted by sants, start wandering in other fantasies.

The people of Ayodhya no longer make mistake, they don't take the path of their own will, they ask Bharat and walk.

Bharat gave everyone the means, some got elephant, some got horse, some got chariot, some got sedan and Bharat himself walked on foot.

See signs, elephants were given to knowledgeable men. The elephant doesn't budge on clapping, nor is he annoyed at abuse, he has nothing to do with anyone, he swings in his own fun. Its eyes are small, head is big, meaning that vision is fine, idea is big. For him condemnation-praise, sin-virtue, defeat-win, infatuation-malice, all have become equal.

Horse, mind is the horse. Horse isn't riding on them, they are riding the horse, they are on the top. Meaning that they control their senses, they are yogis.

Those with chariots follow the religion. Religion is the chariot, valor and patience are its wheels, truth and modesty are its flag.

Those sitting in the sedan are devotees. They don't look here and there, just remembering Bhagwan, sitting in faith. Whose shoulder has the burden of the sedan, he will  bear our burden too. Such reverence.

Bharat himself walked on foot. Even if you have nothing, but at least you have feet, walk anyway. And two feet means two letters of name 'Ram', rely on "Ra" and "M", walk. Lokeshanand says that come on, don't stop now.
