रामकथा में आज बूढ़ों की चर्चा॥

निषादराज को संदेह हो गया। भरत वन क्यों जा रहे हैं? अवश्य उनमें कपट भाव है, नहीं तो सेना साथ क्यों लेते? यह भरत ने ठीक नहीं किया, अयोध्या में ही रहता तो कलंक ही होता, अब जान से जाएगा।

-जान से जाएगा? कैसे? कौन मारेगा उन्हें?

-मैं मारूँगा, जब तक मैं जीवित हूँ, भरत को गंगा पार नहीं करने दूंगा। सब घाट रोक लो, नावें हटा दो, युद्ध के लिए तैयार हो जाओ।

कहने भर की देरी थी, सब तैयार हो गए। सब। कोई भय नहीं, चिंता नहीं। बरछे, लाठी, पत्थर लेकर खड़े हैं, बारह चौदह साल के लड़के प्राण देने को तैयार हैं, हमें राम जी की रक्षा करनी है। गजब उत्साह है, उमंग है। आज जीवन सफल होने जा रहा है, सबका यही भाव है।

तभी, बाँई ओर छींक पड़ी। ज्योतिषियों ने कहा, शुभ संकेत है, युद्ध में जीत होगी। एक बूढ़े ने कहा, युद्ध में जीत होगी ऐसा नहीं, बल्कि युद्ध होगा ही नहीं।

लोकेशानन्द का कहना है कि 'शब्द ज्ञान' और 'अनुभव' में जमीन आसमान का अंतर है। शब्द से सत्य की ओर इशारा तो किया जा सकता है, पर सत्य बताया नहीं जा सकता, सत्य तो शब्दातीत है। दर्पण में जो प्रतिबिंब दिखता है, वह आपका ही है, पर आप वो नहीं हैं। आप वहाँ नहीं हैं जहाँ दिखता है, आप वहाँ हैं जहाँ से दिखता है। अब कोई प्रतिबिंब को ही अपनाआपा समझ ले, तो समझ लो कि समझा ही नहीं।

निषादराज को बात जंची, युद्ध टल गया। और निषादराज ही नहीं, जिस जिस ने किसी बूढ़े की बात मानी, उसका अनर्थ टला, वह लाभ में रहा।

रामकथा में कईं बूढ़े हैं, उनमें से तीन हैं- सुमंत, जामवंत और माल्यवंत। राम जी ने सुमंत जी को पितातुल्य सम्मान दिया, राज्य वापिस आ गया। हनुमान जी ने जामवंत जी की बात मानी कार्य सफल हुआ, राम जी के प्यारे बने।

पर रावण ने माल्यवंत की बात नहीं मानी, उसका सर्वनाश हुआ कि नहीं?

Lokeshanand says that this is the difference between word knowledge and experience. Truth can be pointed out by the word, but can't be told, truth is beyond words.

The reflection you see in the mirror is yours, but you are not that. You are not where you seem to be, you are where from you see. Now if anyone considers his reflection as himself, then understand that he has not understood.

Nishad Raj agreed, the war was averted. And not only Nishad Raj, whoever listened to old men, his crisis averted, he remained in profit.

There are many old people in Ram-katha, three of them are Sumant, Jamvant and Malyavant. Ram gave the fatherly honor to Sumant, the kingdom returned. Hanuman obeyed Jamvant, his task was successful, he became beloved of Ram.
