287 भरत जी माँ से मिले

अब भरत जी ने माँ सीता के चरणों में प्रणाम किया, जैसे चरण वैसा माथा। आज भरत जी अयोध्या को अस्वीकार करके आए हैं, कल सीता जी लंका को ठोकर मार देंगी।

कंठ अवरुद्ध होने से, सीता जी भरत जी को आशीर्वाद वाणी से तो नहीं दे पाईं, पर आँखों के पानी से दे दिया। आँसू भरत जी की पीठ पर पड़े। भरत जी ने सिर उठा कर देखा, सजल नेत्रों से सजल नेत्रों में करुणा देखी, तो भरत जी निश्चिंत हो गए।

देखो, माँ का स्थान तो पिता से भी बड़ा है। पिता से मिलकर इतने निश्चिंत नहीं हुए थे जितने माँ से मिलकर हो गए। स्वामी राजेश्वरानंद जी का भाव है, कि माँ कहने भर से ही मुंह खुल जाता है, बाप कहें तो बंद होता है, तो बालक माँ के सामने जितना खुलकर बात कह पाता है, पिता के सामने नहीं ही कह पाता।

हमारे यहाँ कितनी चर्चा चलती है, हम कहते ही हैं-

"त्वमेव माता च पिता त्वमेव"

"राम हैं मात पिता गुरु बंधु"

"तुम्हीं हो माता पिता तुम्हीं हो"

माँ सदा पहले है। सत्य भी है, अन्त:करण में भक्ति हो, तो भगवान भगवान हैं, भीतर भक्ति ही न हो तो सामने खड़ा परमात्मा भी परमात्मा नहीं।

सूर्य तो सबके लिए एक समान है, पर लाख निकला रहे, उल्लू के लिए, जिसके भीतर प्रकाश नहीं, उसके लिए तो अंधकार की ही सत्ता है।

तो भक्ति पहले, भगवान बाद में। इसीलिए सबमें माँ पहले कहा है, पिता बाद में। तभी तो जब भक्तों की रक्षा की बात आती है, तब भगवान स्वयं भी माँ ही बनकर रक्षा करते हैं, पिता बनकर नहीं।

"करहूँ सदा तिन्ह के रखवारी।

जिमि बालक राखहि महतारी॥"

गजब बात है, भारत ही एकमात्र ऐसा देश है, जहाँ "भारत माता" कहा जाता है। और सब जगह तो पितृभूमि कहते हैं, हमारे यहाँ ही "मातृभूमि" है।

सीता जी हमारी माँ हैं। सीता जी वो शक्ति हैं जो इसी धरती से ही प्रकट होती हैं, और रामराज्य की स्थापना का लक्ष्य पूरा कर, पुनः इसी धरती में ही समा जाती हैं।

लोकेशानन्द कहता है, ऐसी पावन धरती पर जन्म लेकर और सीता जी जैसी माँ पाकर हम धन्य हो गए।

Now Bharat bowed at the feet of Maa Sita. Just as there are feet, so is forehead. Today Bharat has left Ayodhya, tomorrow Sita will kick Lanka.

Due to chocked throat through emotions, Sita ji could not bless Bharat with her voice, but blessed with her tears. Tears fell on Bharat's back. Bharat raised his head and saw compassion in the eyes of Maa, and Bharat became relaxed.

Look, mother's place is higher than father. Mouth is opened only when you say "Maa", if you say "Baap" it is closed. A child is able to say everything to his mother easily, not to his father.

How much discussions go on here, we say-

"Tvamev mata cha pita tvamev"

"Ram hain maat pita guru bandhu"

"Tumhi ho mata, pita tumhi ho"

Mother comes always first. And it is the fact, if there is devotion in the inner being, then Bhagwan is Bhagwan, if there is no devotion within, then even Bhagwan standing in front is not Bhagwan.

The sun is the same for everyone, but even if there are millions of suns, for an owl who cannot see in the light, it is only darkness.

So devotion first, Bhagwan later. That is why mother is said first, father later. When it comes to protect the devotees, then Bhagwan himself also protects by becoming a mother, not as father.

Ram says- I protect the devotees in the same way as a mother protects her children.

"Karahu sada tin ke rakhwali,

Jimi balak rakhahi mahtari."

Strangely, India is the only country where "Bharat Mata" is said. Everywhere else people call their country fatherland, for us it is "motherland".

Sita ji is our mother. Sita ji is the power that manifests from this earth itself, and fulfills the goal of establishing Ram-Rajya, she again merges into this earth.

Lokeshanand says, we are blessed by being born on such a holy land and having a mother like Sita ji.
