"Maya, Brahm and Jeeva"
There is a lot of discussion about Maya, Brahm and Jeeva, some traitwadi accept all three eternal, some dualists consider Jeeva and Brahm as eternal, and Advait says "Jeeva Brahmaiv na Para:" means there is only Brahm.
"Maya Ish na aapu kahun jaan kahiya so Jeeva"
The meaning of this couplet written by Tulsidas ji has been taken differently from different allegiances.
Traitwadi said- Who neither knows Maya, nor Bhagwan, nor himself, he is Jeeva.
Dualist said- Who neither knows Maya's lord, Mayapati Bhagwan, nor knows himself, he is Jeeva.
Ramanujacharya says that as hand is not separate from the body, but hand is not the body, likewise Jeeva is not separate from Brahm, but Jeeva is not Brahm, it is Ang-Angi Nyay.
Lokeshnand's experience says that one who doesn't know himself to be Mayapati is Jeeva. He himself is Brahm, but he has forgotten his true self. The unborn immortal Jeeva has begun to consider himself to be an imaginary mortal body. Therefore, the word Jeeva is being used only to say, in fact he himself is Brahm.
Say that all is made of gold, gold is in everything or all is gold, all three mean the same. Similarly, all is made of Brahm, Brahm is in everything or all is Brahm, there is no difference.
Shankaracharya makes it clear, Brahm is the 'Nimittopadaan' cause of the world, like a rope in the snake, by being the 'Sarvadhishthaan' of the whole world, only Brahm is there, It is Advait only.
This is what Hanuman ji said to Shri Ram- From body's point of view, you are Bhagwan, I am servant. From jeeva's point of view, you are whole, I am part. And from soul's point of view, I am what you are.
