298 ज्ञान और भक्ति

आज ज्ञान और भक्ति की चर्चा एक साथ, क्योंकि दोनों को लेकर बड़ा झगड़ा झंझट चलता है।

ज्ञान में जो अद्वैत है, भक्ति में उसी का नाम अनन्यता है। दोनों कहते हैं "दूसरा नहीं"। ज्ञान में तूं नहीं रहता, भक्ति में मैं नहीं रहता। दोनों में एक ही बचता है।

ज्ञान में सब एक समान है। उड़िया बाबा से किसी ने पूछा कि ज्ञान बड़ा या भक्ति? बाबा बोले- भक्ति। क्योंकि ज्ञान में तो छोटा बड़ा होता ही नहीं।

ज्ञान वह, जहाँ मान न हो। देखो ज्ञान और ज्ञानाभिमानी में अंतर है। ज्ञान माने जाननेवाला, जो जाना गया वो नहीं। आपने जो जाना वो ज्ञान नहीं। ज्ञान में ज्ञानीपना नहीं है, वह तो स्वयं ज्ञानस्वरूप है, ब्रह्मस्वरूप है।

और भक्त वो जो भगवान से विभक्त न हो। माने अलग न रहे, अंतर न रहे, अद्वैत हो जाए। नेत्रों में उनका रूप, कानों में उनकी कथा, मुख में उनका नाम, मन में उन्हीं का आश्रय रह जाए।

यहाँ जो ब्रह्ममय है, वहाँ भगवद् मय है। यहाँ मन मैं नहीं रहा, वहाँ मन मेरा नहीं रहा भगवान का हो गया, दोनों में मन से संबंधविच्छेद है।

जो मन को संभाल न सके, वह अपना मन किसी ऐसे को दे दे, जो उसे संभाल ले, भगवान को दे दे। भगवान स्वयं कहते हैं "मद् मना भव" माने मन उनका हो जाए। और इसके लिए आपको कहीं जाना नहीं, बस कल्पना करनी है, मन स्वयं पहुँच जाएगा। मन तो घुमंतू ही है, तो इसे भगवान के पास घुमा लिया करें, मन भी राजी, आप भी और भगवान भी, झंझट खत्म।

लोकेशानन्द कहता है कि तन से जाएँ तो दूरी और देरी हो, मन से न दूरी, न देरी, सुगम है, जब, जहाँ, जैसे चाहो, भगवान के साथ रह सकते हो।

अब साधन!! रामजी कहते हैं, मुझसे संबंध जोड़ना है, तो मुझे कहीं देखना प्रारंभ करो। सबसे पहले "वन्दउँ प्रथम महिसुर चरणा" संतों में देखो। तो पहले संत का संग, संग से श्रद्धा, श्रद्धा से उनके आदेश का पालन, तब विषयों से वैराग्य और वैराग्य से ज्ञान।

भगवान कहते हैं, बस फिर मैं वश में हो जाता हूँ।

"Gyaan and Bhakti"

Today the discussion of Gyaan (Self-realization) and Bhakti (Devotion) together, because there is a big discussion over both.

What is called 'Advait' in Gyaan, is known as 'Ananyata' in Bhakti, both say 'the other is not'. There is no 'you' in Gyaan, 'I' does not remain in Bhakti. Thus in both only one remains.

In Gyaan, all are equal. Someone asked Udiya Baba what is great between Gyaan and Bhakti? He said- Bhakti, because in Gyaan, there is no great or small.

Gyaan is where there is no ego. See, there is a difference between Gyaan and knowledge. Gyaan means the one who knows. What you have known, is knowledge, not Gyaan. In Gyaan there is no arrogance of knowledge, Gyaan is our self-being, Gyaan is Brahm itself.

And devotee is one who is not separated from Bhagwan, who doesn't remain separate, where there is no difference, Advait remains. Who has Bhagwan's face in eyes, His story in ears, His name on tongue, His memory in heart.

Which is called Brahm in Gyaan, is called Bhagwan in Bhakti. In Gyaan heart is no longer mine, in devotion heart belongs to Bhagwan. There is a separation from heart in both.

He who cannot handle his heart, should devote his heart to someone who can handle it, give it to Bhagwan. Bhagwan himself says- "Madmana bhav" let your heart be mine.

And for this you don't have to go anywhere, just imagine Bhagwan, the heart will reach Him by itself. Heart is a wanderer, so turn it around to Bhagwan. The heart also agrees, you also agree and Bhagwan also agrees, the mess is over.

Lokeshanand says that if you want to go somewhere with the body, then there is some delay and distance. But with heart, there is no distance, no delay. You can stay with Bhagwan whenever and wherever you want.

Now means! Shri Ram says- If you want to relate with me, then start seeing me somewhere. First of all, "Vandaun pratham mahisur charna" try to see me in a sant.

First the company of a sant, reverence born from sant's shelter, obeying his command with reverence, then detachment from desires and Gyaan from detachment.

Bhagwan says- 'Then I am yours.'
